1. Platform Description
Sky-sage.com is an online platform (the “Platform”) that connects individuals seeking to travel with a companion (“Travelers”) with individuals offering to accompany them on flights (“Companions”). The Platform facilitates introductions and booking arrangements but does not operate as a travel agency, transportation service, or employer. Sky-sage.com does not supervise, direct, or control the services provided by Companions.

2. Eligibility
By using the Platform, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and legally able to enter into binding contracts. You are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and current information and for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
3. Nature of Relationship
Sky-sage.com is a neutral intermediary. It does not screen or guarantee the suitability, conduct, or performance of any user (whether Traveler or Companion). No employment, agency, or joint venture relationship is formed between Sky-sage.com and any user by virtue of these Terms or the use of the Platform.
Companions and Travelers act solely at their own risk. Any arrangements made through the Platform are directly between the parties involved. Sky-sage.com does not endorse or guarantee the qualifications, reliability, or identity of any user.
4. Travel Expectations and Limitations
Companions are expected to accompany the Traveler from the departure gate to the arrival gate, and to assist with navigation, translation, and general guidance during layovers.
Companions are not expected or permitted to: carry luggage or push wheelchairs; accompany Travelers through customs unless required by law; provide medical assistance or make medical decisions.
Sky-sage.com strongly discourages users from handling each other’s personal belongings. Travel is deemed complete once the Traveler and Companion reach the arrivals area of the destination airport, or are otherwise separated by airline or government authorities.
Sky-sage.com does not guarantee the availability of any Companion or Traveler, or the accuracy of listings, schedules, or user information.
The Platform is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.
5. Bookings and Payments
Companions may list upcoming flights and their desired compensation. The Platform enables Travelers to book and pay for such services. Sky-sage.com retains a service fee from each transaction, the amount of which may vary and is subject to change at Sky-sage.com’s sole discretion.
Payments are released to Companions after the scheduled date of travel, provided there are no material complaints or disputes raised, as determined in Sky-sage.com’s sole discretion. Optional background checks may be requested by Travelers at an additional fee. Results will not be disclosed but may affect a Companion’s availability on the Platform.
To receive payouts for completed services, Companions are required to connect their Sky-sage.com account to a supported third-party payment processor such as Stripe or PayPal.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
Travelers may cancel bookings up to 72 hours before departure for a full refund. No refunds are available after that time, unless:
- a party is prevented from boarding at the departure airport by airline or local authorities;
- or the Companion fails to appear at the designated meeting point.
If both parties are deboarded together and subsequently travel together on a later flight, no refund will be issued.
7. User Conduct
Users agree not to: use the Platform for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose; impersonate another person or submit false information; solicit or offer services outside the Platform to avoid service fees; or post or transmit any abusive, defamatory, or obscene content. Sky-sage.com reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account for violation of these Terms.
8. Dispute Resolution
Sky-sage.com encourages users to resolve issues amicably through the Platform’s messaging system or by contacting customer support within 24 hours of the flight’s completion.
Sky-sage.com is not responsible for mediating disputes between Travelers and Companions, and has no obligation to intervene with respect to such matters.
Disputes between any users and Sky-sage.com must first be submitted to mediation before any other legal remedy is pursued. Mediation will be conducted in Ontario, Canada at the expense of the party initiating the dispute, unless otherwise agreed.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: Sky-sage.com is not liable for any damages, losses, or injuries arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform, your travel experience, or any interaction with another user.
Sky-sage.com disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Sky-sage.com does not guarantee that Companions or Travelers will attend, behave appropriately, or perform as expected.
Sky-sage.com is not responsible for any delays, disruptions, cancellations, missed flights, denied boarding, or other issues arising from a user’s failure to follow the Platform’s instructions, provide requested information, or comply with applicable procedures.
Sky-sage.com is not responsible for: flight delays or cancellations; lost or stolen luggage; acts of local or international authorities; or user conduct.
In no event shall Sky-sage.com’s total liability exceed the amount paid by the Traveler for the specific booking in question.
You agree to release Sky-sage.com and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all claims, demands, and damages of every kind, known or unknown, arising out of or connected with your use of the Platform or interaction with other users.
10. Travel Insurance
Travelers are solely responsible for obtaining appropriate travel insurance coverage for their journey, including but not limited to medical emergencies, flight cancellations or delays, lost or stolen baggage, and any personal injury or liability that may arise during travel.
Sky-sage.com does not provide travel insurance and does not verify whether Travelers or Companions have adequate insurance coverage.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, any claims arising out of or related to a Traveler or the Companion’s journey must first be submitted to the Traveler or Companion’s insurance provider. Sky-sage.com will not consider any claims or complaints unless all available avenues for recovery under the insurance policy have been exhausted and documented evidence of such denial is provided.
Sky-sage.com shall not be liable for any costs, losses, or damages that would have been covered by standard or recommended travel insurance.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sky-sage.com and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including legal fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with:
(a) your use of the Platform;
(b) your interactions with other users, including Travelers or Companions;
(c) your breach of these Terms; or
(d) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of a third party.
12. Force Majeure
Sky-sage.com shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, civil disturbances, governmental actions, natural disasters, pandemics, power outages, internet failure, or labor disputes.
13. Privacy
Use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using the Platform, you consent to the practices described therein.
14. Modification of Terms
Sky-sage.com may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
You hereby irrevocably attorn to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario for the hearing and determination of any legal proceedings arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Platform. You waive any objection based on venue or forum non conveniens with respect to any such proceeding.
